ECEC received the opportunity today to test out the new school, Cottonwood. We held our Character Counts assembly in the new Cottonwood gym. This was a special assembly because we were also celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday and had our very own Cat in the Hat show up to greet students.
We Celebrate Character Counts every 6 weeks here at ECEC. This month we were focusing on Trustworthiness as our pillar of character. Every class selects one boy or girl who has most demonstrated that trait throughout the month to win a t-shirt, certificate, free kid's meal from Chili's, and a free snow cone from Snow to Go. Parents of children receiving the award are notified in advance so they can be present at the assembly.
